Changes Panel

The Changes panel (⌘4) shows what the active quest has changed. It sits below the terminal in the main panel; drag the divider between them to resize, or hide the terminal (⌘3) for a full-height diff.

The header offers:

  • Current Changes / All Changes — uncommitted changes in the worktree, or everything on the quest’s branch since it left the base branch.
  • The changed-file count and a working directory dropdown with Open in Editor, Open in File Manager, Open in Terminal and Copy Path.
  • View mode: Side-by-side, Unified or Hunk (only the changed hunks).
  • Syntax theme: Pierre (default), GitHub, One Dark, Dracula, Vitesse, Catppuccin or Everforest.
  • Render markdown for .md files, Refresh and Close.

The defaults for view mode, theme and markdown rendering live in Settings > Appearance > Diff Viewer.

On the left, a resizable file tree lists every changed file with its status. Type in Filter files to narrow it (Esc clears). Right-click a file for Open in Editor, Open in Finder and Open in Terminal.

In multi-repo projects, paths are prefixed with the child repository name.

Press ⌘F (or Ctrl+F) while the panel has focus to open the find bar in the top-right corner of the diff:

  • Type to highlight matches; the counter shows the current match and total.
  • Enter / Shift+Enter (or the arrows) step forward and back.
  • All files searches every changed file for the term and narrows the file tree to the ones that contain it; a clear button restores the full list.
  • Esc closes the find bar.
  • Each quest card shows +added −removed line counts for its branch, so you can spot large diffs without opening them.
  • The panel reads the quest’s worktree directly, so changes appear as soon as the agent writes them — no commit required.
